The food at the Horizon is par excellent. The steaks can compare with any other city in the world! Perfectly grilled to your liking and the sides were even good! The staff are friendly, flexible and are willing to serve you what you need. We went there every night for our 5 day trip and never got bored as the menu is innovative and the deserts are great! The servers are knowledgeable and can make some good recommendations! PERFECT!
Had quite a few meals at this restaurant and each one was very good. we tried all types of food and decided the fillet steak or tandoori chicken to be some of the best food eaten in Candolim would recommend this place highly as well as the place is very clean with the added bonus of watching the world pass by, the staff are friendly and polite and remember you, will be returning next year.
Anybody who wants to try the famous chef Gordon Ramsey's Beef Wellington should head right to Horizon Grill in candolim. The only place so far serving that perfect.
Beautiful succulent bbq pork ribs. The ambience, the service, food, everything is really good! Had the beef pie with onions, it takes some time for service (as mentioned in the menu) but it's nice and warm perfect for a chilly night. The chorizo with red beans and rice is also really good. A must go to if you're a meat lover.
So impressed with this restaurant. We stumbled across this restaurant when in Goa and couldn't face any more curry one night. We don't usually return to the same restaurant more than once on holiday as we like to try everywhere, but Karltons was so nice we had to go back a second time, and possibly a third for our last night here. The fillet steak is unreal! For around £5 you get a fillet steak cooked to perfection with chips and veg which is very nice. The starters are very nice (the stuffed mushrooms and the battered squid is a definite must try) Couldn't fault this restaurant and our cocktails were very nice too!
I walked along the strip looking for a restaurant that was full. I found it. Karlton's Horizon Grill, I had had a surfeit of curry and opted for the filet steak. I was not disappointed. It was at least 3 inches thick and cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. It was as good as I have ever tasted and I am 73 and lived in the USA for 15 years.
Walked by this restaurant most nights and did not go in until my last 3 nights of the holiday. Big mistake because this place has top quality food and a wide and varied menu .So as u can imagine those last 3 nights were spent in the horizon grill where we enjoyed terrific starters,mains and sweets oh and lovely drinks.Don't make the same mistake i did if your holidaying in Candolim, make sure you visit on the start of your hols and am sure you won't be dissapointed..
We had probably the best meal in here we had steak and it was cooked to perfection. You could not fault any of the food the service was good. You will see how good this place is as it's always busy.
Try the seared stakes, best in the world. We do enjoy trying all different foods, but this did spoil us, we ended up in a week going there 3 times.
A warm welcome awaits you at Karlton's we have been going for 9 years and its getting better! The best steak I have eaten anywhere in the world. All the food is of the highest quality my only advice is book first it's always really busy. Go on give it a try,you won't be disappointed!
Excellent choice, great Fish dishes, variety of sauces to go with it. The fish and seafood is very fresh and we enjoyed that! Good service, and good ambience too.
The steak was so yummm i could eat it like 365 days for breakfast lunch and dinner!!!! You MUST try it! Damn i miss it .. :(
